Dear April, I thought I would just let
you know how (Max) one of your babies and I are doing.
2009 All Breeds - IALHA - Third place, training level
2009 All Breeds Reserve Champion - IALHA - Adult Amateur, Sandie Frick riding SE
Galliano
2009 All Breeds Vintage Cup Reserve Champion - IALHA - Sandie Frick riding SE
Galliano
Of course any recognition with my name on it was only because of Max. As I have
told you before, he is amazing. We have become a very close team. He is
teaching me so much. He will make me a real rider. He is so sensitive.
He reads my mind. My trainer wants us to go to Region 6 Championships this
year. She says we are more than ready. Hopefully at first level. Thanks for
listening,, I'm just so proud I had to pass on the information.
Sandie Frick & Max Dear April:
The Canadian Nationals were amazing. We entered him in one class in the pre show
(Jr. Western) just to get him used to the main arena and six National Classes:
Dressage Suitability Jr Horse (Purebreds and Partbreds), English Pleasure
(Hunter) Junior Horse, Open 1/2 Andalusian Halter, Open Half Andalusian Halter
Amateur to Handle, Oen Western Pleasure Junior Horse (Purebreds and
Partbreds)and 1/2 Andalusian Western Pleaure Open. He won every class he entered
(even the pre-show one)- and now has six National Championships!
He also took the IALHA Medal for Best Movement in the 1/2 And. Halter. The
judge had wonderful things to say about him- he even noted to the show chair
while at breakfast the day after the show that the bay half And/half Arab
gelding that took all of his classes was an outstanding horse. When
the chair told the judge he was for sale the judge replied, "You're kidding!" We
are still numb. I will have some wonderful pictures to send to you soon.
Sincerely,
Shelley Evans |
